Why I should be your Doula
I understand how overwhelming it can be to navigate pregnancy while also selecting a Doula. Here’s how I can support you.

Advocacy and Empowerment
As your Doula, my priority is ensuring you feel seen, heard, and respected throughout your experience. I will advocate for you, ensuring you fully understand your options and that your choices are respected—whether regarding your birth preferences or feeding decisions. My role is solely to support and empower you, without any vested interest, so that you feel confident in every decision.
Active listening and Empathy
I am a compassionate listener and an empath, committed to helping you trust your instincts. I believe you have a natural power within you, and my role is to affirm that belief. You know your body better than anyone, and I’m here to support that trust.
Natural Induction Support
If you prefer to avoid a medicated induction, I can assist with natural techniques and help you stay active, encouraging your baby to move into an optimal birth position, which may help shorten labour.
Postnatal and Breastfeeding Support
I am particularly passionate about supporting new parents in the postnatal period, especially around breastfeeding and safe sleep. I can help you understand your baby’s cues and support you through challenges such as gas or colic. I have completed a breastfeeding course and can assist with techniques such as hand expressing and colostrum harvesting.
Support for Physiological Birth
I am here to support you through a physiological birth, guiding you through movement and rest during early labour. I have extensive knowledge of essential oils and movement techniques, which can be highly beneficial during labour.
Continuity of Care
In today’s overstretched healthcare system, continuity of care can be rare. While I am not a medical professional, I provide consistent, knowledgeable support throughout your journey into parenthood. Research shows that having a Doula can improve birth experiences, with studies indicating a 31% reduction in dissatisfaction with the birth process.
